The National Prayer Committee is pleased to announce its newest project, the Praying Pastors Project . The Praying Pastors Project is a distribution strategy authorized by the executive committee of the National Prayer Committee, Inc.

The Praying Pastors Project is a revolutionary prayer initiative that creates a network of ministries, individuals and business owners who want to enrich the prayer lives of those in their local communities. The project will create a network of volunteer coordinators that will solicit funds from donors in order to underwrite the costs of getting the book “Giving Ourselves to Prayer” and other prayer resources to all the pastors in the United States. Official launch date for the project is October 1.

Intial staff will be Dana Simons, Executive Director and Dean Gambill, Director of Strategic Partnerships. Neither Dana nor Dean are strangers to the NPC. Dana and her husband, Ron, are the co-founders of Greater Calling , a prayer tele-conferencing minstry and Dean has served as the assistant to NPC Chairman Dave Butts for the past 4 years and continues to serve as the webmaster of the NationalPrayer.org.
