Prayer Ministries with a Denominational Focus While most of these ministries mainly work within their own denominations, as time permits, they are willing to minister in churches outside their denomination. If you need resources or help in promoting prayer within your sphere of influence, feel free to contact any organization listed here. Denominational prayer ministries are one of the greatest sources of excellent prayer resources. Because most denominations publish and distribute their resources only within their denominations, people from other churches rarely find these materials. Some of the very best--and most practical for churches--prayer materials are coming from these organizations. For a sampling, check out our review of The Praying Church Sourcebook, which is a publicaiton of the Christian Reformed Church.
Note: Those ministries with a member on the Working Committee of America's National Prayer Committee are notated with an (NPC).
